Hello, and Welcome!

I'm Blair, a vegan registered dietitian nutritionist, toddler mom, intuitive eater, fitness enthusiast, coffee and wine lover, and somewhat-minimalist. I turned vegetarian as a kid and have been fully vegan for 7 years now.

I started my private practice in 2020 while working at a hospital and ICU amidst the pandemic to shift my work towards prevention of disease.

My mission is two-fold: to help vegans eat in a more balanced and complete way and to help clients manage and prevent chronic diseases by increasing consumption of whole plant-based foods.

Blair's Philosophy

Health is the overall bird's eye view of your diet and lifestyle -- including sleep, stress management, self care, and relationships.

We can still eat chips and cookies, y'all! Everything is a balance.

Eating more plant-based foods does not need to be difficult, expensive, or bland. I am here to show you that being vegan can be easy, cheap, and enjoyable.

Education and Experience

I obtained my Bachelors of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with Honors from The University of Texas at Austin. Then I went on to obtain my Masters of Science in Human Sciences from Texas A&M University - Kingsville, where I also completed the dietetic internship to become a Registered and Licensed Dietitian in Texas.

After several years working in clinical dietetics, I became a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician to be proficient in ordering and recommending enteral and parenteral nutrition support to patients in the ICU and acute-care hospital setting. I've worked with hundreds of patients to help manage acute and chronic illnesses including diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, malnutrition, and critical illness.

I currently contract with emergency rooms in Texas to provide nutrition services to acute-care patients on an as-needed basis.

Aside from working on my blog and private practice, I'm a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Vegetarian Nutrition DPG, and Nutrition Entrepreneurs DPG. I've contributed to adding vegan and vegetarian sample menus throughout the Nutrition Care Manual and peer-reviewed Vegetarian Athlete and Binge Eating case studies for the Sports Nutrition Care Manual.
